The dining room is quite large, but there is also a small room in front of the drinks counter for those who prefer cozy corners. The cuisine is down-to-earth, with reasonable schnitzels, stews, the famous Franconian carp and a few complementary dishes and changing offers. In the summer there is a small beer garden, although it is on the street, it is quite cozy and shaded by a linden and chestnut tree. The portions are very generous, making them relatively cheap. The corona rules are currently implemented, and people are served and served with a face mask and gloves.

Fast, friendly service. Special requests problem-free at no extra charge. Food and drink very good, a lot of choice from fish to schnitzel variations to sausages. We sat in the garden restaurant, to be recommended.

Franconian cuisine! The roast pork with dumpling and salad was delicious, the staff Franconian-friendly. Only the beer garden chairs are uncomfortable and the street noise is a bit annoying

Food can be absolutely recommended ... very tasty and freshly made. However, the service ... do not know how to write it - you could soled your shoes while running and you can't really talk about service. Bring every drink individually, the restaurant was empty but the service was never there - glasses empty and none Ask if you want something or take the empty glasses with you, not rude but not friendly. You don't really want to experience such a service if you can call it that, really a shame because the food is really good

The food is quite good. But not everything is there every day. We wanted to eat carp, which is only available on Thursday. We wanted to eat schnitzel, which is only available on Wednesdays. I think. This is not advantageous considering what is there today.

Excellent food, excellent beer, and a welcoming atmosphere. Crispy pork shoulder (schaufele) was super tasty and a very good price for such a gourmet dish. A hidden gem.

The ham noodles are absolutely bombastic here. Again and again like, simply because the name of ham pasta is more than fair what you have on the plate, and there are 5 stars +

My wife and I were preparing for a trip to France. We didn't want to stay for a lunch in one of the Autohofs next to the highway. We wanted something special. Nuremberg was our half-way stop and we were planning to go through highway 9 to highway 6 so we were looking for something special in this area. After couple of minutes with TripAdvisor we found typical bavarian restaurant Zum Blauen Stern. When we arrived, we found that it is located not in the center of city but on suburbs what is the big advantage (no traffic jams). There is a private parking for about 5 cars. Restaurant is divided into 2 parts: pub and main restaurant. What was important for us, it is serving bavarian/german food. We ordered two schnitzels with potato salad. It was delicious! The meal was big, lots of kartoffelsalat. It was big but wasn't expensive. Everything was perfect. The only minus is that only cash is accepted. It is worth to exit the highway and eat at the Zum Blauen Stern. If I will be driving through Nuremberg again, I will definitely visit this place again!
